  We are pleased to announce that the Junior Captain for 2022 is Josh Wilkinson. Josh is excited about becoming Junior Captain and we wish him a very enjoyable year. To get to know Josh a little better here are his insights on the game…. I have been playing golf since the age of 5 when my dad got me into this wonderful game. My favourite golfer and my inspiration is Rory McIlroy, the way he conducts himself on the golf course is something to really take note of and he’s just a mesmerising player. Hate to say it 😂 but the football team I support is Manchester United. Football is my other passion and I go to old Trafford regularly and love it! My aspiration for next year is to be playing off scratch by the end of the year.  I understand it’s a tough challenge but if I dedicate myself to the sport this can be easily achieved. My favourite hole at Berkhamsted is the17th. I am happy to support and help other juniors if needed at this wonderful club. Josh.

  The Junior Christmas Cup is on the afternoon of Monday 27 th of December, just sign up via the IG golf app or via the website. If you would like to do a card for handicap purposes, you are most welcome to sign up as well.

  Following the success of the Family Day in September, the Club has decided to host a Christmas Family day, on the 12th December. The format will be a team Texas Scramble with any combination of family members, but the team of 4 should at least consist of 2 juniors. Tee times will be from 13.00, with a dinner and presentation of prizes to follow around 18.00 (Allowing you time to go home and get changed). This includes the distribution of the Junior hats for those who have signed up to the junior academy. If you are able to attend and play, please do drop Tom a line at tomc39@live.com. We hope you can attend the day and make it every bit as successful as the previous one! Christmas jumpers or hats are more than welcome.

                                 The Junior Autumn Cup is on the afternoon of Monday 25 th of October,  Just sign up via the IG golf app or via the website. If you would like to do a card for handicap purposes you are most welcome to sign up as well.

  There is a Junior Stableford on Sunday 10 th of October, reserved tee time between 13.30 and 14:00, including a slot for a Blue Course 9 hole Stableford.  Just sign up via the IG golf app or via the website.
